At Bright Night Fishing, we want to ensure you receive the correct product for your boat, lighting setup, or marine upgrade needs. We offer a straightforward return and exchange process to help make your shopping experience easy and hassle-free.
Returns & Exchanges
Eligibility
We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of the delivery date for items that are:
- New
- Unused
- Uninstalled
- In original packaging
Electrical parts, installed components, and certain electronic accessories are not eligible for return or exchange.
Return Conditions
Returned items must:
- Be uninstalled and undamaged
- Include all original packaging, hardware, and components
- Arrive in resellable condition
Items that do not meet these requirements may be refused or subject to partial refunds.
Restocking Fee
A 20% restocking fee applies to standard returns.
The restocking fee may be waived if:
- You are exchanging for another item
- You are reordering the correct product
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable and may be deducted from the refund amount.
Return Authorization Required
Before returning any item, please contact us to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number.

Incorrect or Insufficient Address
Orders returned due to:
- Incorrect shipping information
- Insufficient address details
- Undeliverable addresses
may be subject to:
- Return shipping charges
- A 15% restocking fee
Please verify your shipping address carefully before placing your order.
Electrical Parts & Installed Components
For safety and quality control reasons:
- Electrical components
- Installed marine electronics
- Installed LED lighting systems
- Installed trolling motor parts and accessories
are not eligible for return, exchange, or warranty coverage if installed by the customer.
Warranty Information
Customer-Installed Parts
Products installed by the customer may not include manufacturer warranty coverage unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.
Authorized Service Center Installation
Products installed by an Authorized Service Center may qualify for manufacturer warranty coverage through that installer or service provider.
Warranty terms vary by manufacturer.
International Shipping
Bright Night Fishing currently ships within the United States.
Customers outside the U.S. may use a package forwarding service if desired. Please note:
- Our responsibility ends once the package is successfully delivered to the forwarding service’s U.S. address
- We are not responsible for loss, damage, delays, or issues occurring after delivery to the forwarding company
Sales Tax
Orders shipped to North Carolina are subject to applicable North Carolina sales tax.
